CarrierCheck provides free access to publicly available carrier data sourced from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) database. The service allows users to look up US motor carrier information including DOT numbers, MC numbers, authority status, insurance records, and safety ratings.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use CarrierCheck only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the service to scrape, harvest, or systematically collect large volumes of carrier data
• Use automated bots, scripts, or crawlers to access the service without prior written permission
• Attempt to overwhelm, disrupt, or interfere with the service or its servers
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute data obtained from this service
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable federal, state, or local laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure

3. Data Accuracy and Disclaimer

All carrier data displayed on CarrierCheck is sourced from the FMCSA public database and is provided for informational purposes only. While we strive to keep data current through daily and weekly syncs, we make no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information.

CarrierCheck data should not be used as the sole basis for making business, legal, or financial decisions. Always verify critical information directly with the FMCSA at safer.fmcsa.dot.gov.

4. No Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, King Dispatch LLC and CarrierCheck shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or reliance on the service, including but not limited to:

• Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in carrier data
• Business losses resulting from reliance on displayed information
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

5. Intellectual Property

The CarrierCheck name, logo, website design, and original content are the property of King Dispatch LLC. FMCSA data is public domain data from the US government. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute our original content without written permission.

6. Third-Party Services

CarrierCheck uses third-party services including Google Analytics (for usage statistics) and Google AdSense (for advertising). These services have their own privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

7. Rate Limiting and Access

We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or terminate access to the service at any time for any reason, including but not limited to excessive usage, suspected abuse, or violation of these terms. Automated or bulk access requires prior written approval.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
