CarrierCheck (carrierchk.com) is a service operated by King Dispatch LLC. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to King Dispatch LLC and its CarrierCheck service. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use CarrierCheck.

1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information to operate the service:

Search queries — DOT numbers, MC numbers, or email addresses you search for. These are used only to fetch data from the FMCSA database and are not stored permanently.
Log data — Standard server logs including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. Logs are kept for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes.
Cookies — We use cookies for Google AdSense to serve relevant advertisements. See Section 4 for details.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide carrier lookup results from the FMCSA database
To display relevant advertisements via Google AdSense
To monitor and improve site performance
To detect and prevent abuse, bots, and scraping

3. Data Sources

All carrier data displayed on this site is sourced from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) via the public API at data.transportation.gov. We do not create, modify, or store this carrier data. We are not affiliated with FMCSA or the U.S. Department of Transportation.

4. Google AdSense & Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

With Google for advertising purposes (as described above)
With our factoring partner, RTS Financial, when you submit the freight factoring quote form on /freight-factoring — the details you enter on that form are sent to us and to an RTS representative so they can prepare your quote. We only share what you enter there, and only when you choose to submit it. CarrierChk is an agent for RTS Financial and may receive compensation if you sign up for factoring through us.

6. Data Retention

We do not permanently store your search queries. Server logs are automatically deleted after 30 days. We do not maintain any database of user searches.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access information we hold about you
Request deletion of your data
Opt out of personalized advertising
Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
