CarrierCheck is a free service by King Dispatch LLC, a trucking dispatch company founded in 2024. We dispatch freight for carriers across the US and built CarrierCheck out of a real need we faced every day on the job.
When we started dispatching, verifying a carrier meant jumping between multiple FMCSA pages — one for authority status, another for insurance, another for safety data. It was slow, frustrating, and easy to miss something important.
The paid tools that consolidated this data either had daily search limits, were too expensive for small dispatch operations, or were missing critical information like the primary contact name — something we needed constantly when setting up new carrier relationships.
So we built CarrierCheck to solve our own problem: one place, no login, no limits, no cost. Everything we needed to vet a carrier in seconds instead of minutes. After using it internally across our own dispatch operations — working with around 10 carrier companies — we opened it up to the rest of the industry for free.
